Meet Marko Penn, an R&B singer-songwriter who so obviously understands the spirit of hip-hop and modern rap music. After earning a reputation as a songwriter, with credits on tracks like Usher's "Stronger" and Ty Dolla $ign's "Juice," Marko has managed to get one of his heroes to guest on his new single: "B2L" ("Back to Life").
Marko begins the song as an uplifting pop ballad. Then enter the trap drums and then the Trap God. As with Marko, Gucci's versatility is highly impressive. He finishes his verse by rapping, "Critics say I only rap about money, clothes, ice, but if I rapped about my life, I would probably get life." Yeah, this one goes.
Off Marko's upcoming project, "B2L" is available for purchase on iTunes.
