2 Chainz is preparing for the release of Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, his first project of 2017, on Friday, April 7th. Wednesday morning, he released what appears to be the project's first single: "It's a Vibe" featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Trey Songz, & Jhene Aiko.
"It's a Vibe" uses a similar strummed guitar chord pattern to the one Ty$ used in "Horses in the Stable." A second guitar plays a muted background melody and a tight, minimalist drum groove drives the song forward, easily hypnotizing the listener. It's a vibe, after all...
