Last Year

Things move fast in the rap game, which is exactly what "Last Year" is all about. Sonny Digital and Black Boe have teamed up for an entire new project called Black Goat, and on the intro to the collection, they recall what they were up to one year ago. The two riff on both their come-up within the last 12 months, as well as the accomplishments they'd already made at the time (both were no strangers to Rollies) over a woozy beat from OZ.

It's a classic aspirational anthem in the tradition of the trap music Sonny has been soundtracking for years. However, he's never sounded more comfortable as a vocalist as he does trading bars with Boe across this new project.
