Skippa da Flippa recently announced that is leaving Quality Control and embarking on an exciting new chapter in his career. (He is still signed to 300 Ent.) Yesterday he released a new song called "GangLand," and he sounds hungrier than ever. Skippa discussed the Cheeze Beatz- and 30 Roc-produced record with XXL.
“It’s for the gang,” he said. “People be saying they gang, people be saying they Migo, but really when it comes to people like that, everyone wants to be something they’re not, so I decided to make a song called ‘GangLand’ for the gang.”
Skippa is still on good terms with QC, in case you're wondering. He's working a new mixtape. Listen to "GangLand" and stay tuned for more heat coming soon.
Quotable Lyrics
I shoot like Chauncey Billups did for the Pistons
I want the Benzes, I want the Benzes
Keep a distance from a fuck nigga
Used to pack 'em sealed like an action figure
