You may know Montreal rapper Young Troy as one half of Frap Boyz, but he's recently been releasing music as a solo artist, continuing the trend with the release of "Choices." The new track showcases Troy's unique high-register croon, proving that he's embraced melody more than ever on his solo material. "I need to start making better choices," he sings, suggesting that while he can't stop thinking about a certain woman in his life, his career always takes priority. "I'll never change for you, I'm getting paid first."
Last October, Troy released "Personal," another R&B-leaning record that uses his voice as a hypnotic force. No word on whether he'll be releasing a solo project anytime soon.
Quotable Lyrics:
I wonder why this pain won't go
Maybe I should take it slow
Got my foot on the breaks, oh no
Thinking 'bout her on the road
Choices
