B.o.B shares a genre-bending new track with WurID.

B.o.B's collective is called No Genre for a reason, and his new single "Fake Friends" is another reminder of how he's willing to experiment with a variety of sounds. His frequent collaborator WurID provides the rock-infused hook, which slowly builds before breaking into a minimal piano line. From there, B.o.B launches into some slick Southern double time flows, and soon enough, the 808s drop in, as well as a haunting vocal sample. It's an unpredictable record but once it's surprises reveal themselves, they work together quite fluently.

Bobby Ray and No Genre released their Don't Call It A Christmas album last December. Stream it in full here.

Quotable Lyrics:
It's dirt on my name
Cause I'm a diamond in the rough
My cup runneth over
It's time to get a bigger cup
Looking for innocence in a world that's corrupt
