Confident

Keeping up his prolific streak, Iamsu! dropped his Bo$$ Up project, the follow-up to 2016's Six Speed, last Friday. As usual, the project is full with catchy Bay Area pop-rap, and "Confident," the collaboration with singer YMTK, is among the most immediate tracks. A pan flute riff battles with squiggling bassline, but Su's topline is still the biggest earworm on the track, and his melody is further strengthened when YMTK swoops in to accompany him on the hook.

"I put everything into this mixtape I hope you like it," Su wrote on Twitter. So far, no complaints. Listen to the full tape here.
