Young Sizzle's new mixtape is called Trap Ye, a title that expresses the producer-rapper's desire to be trap music's answer to Kanye West. One of the highlights from the project is "Spelling B," a record that finds Sizzle self-producing as Southside, proving a creeping rhythm that sticks within his signature sound. Gucci Mane, who happens to be the only guest on the project, shows up for this one, adding hi animated delivery to contrast Sizzle's more straight-forward aggression.
The full project is available for stream and download here. Does it live up to its ambitious title?
Quotable Lyrics:
Southside from the south side
Gucci from the E-A-G
East Atlanta Georgia
Was raised up on the B-C-T
Bouldercrest Road
And you know I got them P-I-E’s
Know the streets like my ABCs
But I’ma keep the K with me
Grah, grah grah, wish a n---a play with me
Spelling B
