Cap 1's new record "4eva" is a special kind of celebration. 1 year ago, the Chicago rapper was shot 3 times in Atlanta. He drove himself to the hospital and lived to tell the tale, which he does on this Verse Simmonds-assisted record. "I feel like I'mma live forever," Verse sings on the hook, while Cap 1 muses about his near-death experience, opting to make the most out of life after seeing how quickly it could potentially slip away. He also looks back at the things that are important to him; regretting fights he had with the mother of his child, wishing he had taken advice given to him, and recalling early memories of living with his mother and grandmother.
