On Alchemist's ongoing Craft Singles series, the Beverly Hills rapper/producer has teamed up with the likes of Roc Marciano, Blu, MC Eiht and ScHoolboy Q. On "Brand Name," Alc connects with Mach Hommy, a Griselda Records rapper known for his collaborations with label mates Westside Gunn and Conway.
"Brand Name" is a hard as nails track. Alchemist produces an ominous beat -- like shit's-about-to-go-down music -- while Mach kills it on the mic. The rapper talk about scheming to hurt his enemies and scaring the life out of softer souls. It contains an excerpt of Christopher Wallace reciting some of his well-known lyrics. The track will appear on Mach Hommy’s upcoming 5 O'Clock Shadow, along with other productions from Knxwledge and Earl Sweatshirt.
