Freddie Gibbs had himself an interesting 2016 to say the least, which included the first half of the year being locked up behind bars in Austria fighting an alleged sexual assault case, but thankfully back in September he was released from all legal woes. Having made his return to the music scene back in November with “All Day,” the Gary, Indiana rapper is looking to make a strong resurgence in 2017, and its starts today with this new unreleased record that’s surfaced online called “Overtime” with Young Buck & Hi Skrewface.
Produced by Kris Carter, the track serves as the lead intro for Strictly 4 The Traps N Trucks Vol. 111 mixtape, which just dropped yesterday. Hit play and let us know what you think.
Quotable Lyrics:
See I’m a real nigga, trill nigga
Still thuggin’ in the fields wit ya
My lil niggas they be up skippin' class in the mornin’
Kush pack blowin’
They smokin’ minis homey bought em all a pair of Jordans
Im livin’ like an East side straight grinder
