Hip-hop is currently enjoying a brief hibernation period as artists are resting for the holidays and looking ahead to the New Year. There's one guy who isn't done with 2016 just yet, though, and that's San Diego's Rob $TONE, the man behind "Chill Bill," which has been on the Hot 100 for over 5 months now and still sits in the top 40. To cap off his breakout year, he has offered up a brand new EP, entitled Lemotional Season, by 1207. Though $TONE appears on most of the EP's 9 tracks, he reserves a couple of spots for members of his 1207 crew, including Spooks, who is responsible for "Beta."
"Beta" is proving to be a fan favorite off the project, and it's easy to hear why. The song is a little piece of springtime bliss in what's been an arduous winter season thus far. With its gentle, melodious production, "Beta" is all about turning up while still enjoying nature's tranquility. This is what it feels like to be "Lemotional."

Quotable Lyrics
And now you say you got a problem
Pussy boy I'm gettin' rich
Man I'm always 'bout my money
Never trickin' on a bitch
