Blake Banks is back in Heatseekers for the second time, following last month's "Ride," a collab with Hoodrich's Drug Rixh Peso. Banks has been spending time in Atlanta, away from his usual abodes in Chicago and L.A., in order to work on his upcoming project, Field of Dreams, at the Street Execs Studio. Here's a smooth new Field of Dreams track called "Zombie." As with "Ride," production comes from the Ambulance Factory.
There's some old-school flavor to the production, which jives surprisingly well with Banks' new-school rapping/singing flow. Play this one as the sun starts to set, and maybe spark a spliff to assist with the relaxation. The title refers to how Banks is feeling while on the zanny, as he hits the off-switch to his brain and lets his words flow naturally in sync with the beat.
Look out for Field of Dreams to drop in the near future.
