U-God is currently embroiled in a $2.5 million lawsuit against the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan, whom he claims stiffed him on royalties. He addresses the lawsuit at the beginning of "Venom," the title track and first single from his forthcoming album.
“We goin’ through hell, we tryna get it right,” he says of his brothers before properly diving into the DJ Homicide and 1200 Warriors-produced track. His gruff, no-nonsense flow fits nicely within the bass-heavy, braggadocious instrumental.
