If you're someone who reads writing credits, you'll know that The-Dream has been working with Rihanna for quite some time. "Umbrella," "Hard," "Birthday Cake," "Phresh Out The Runway," "Do Ya Thang," and most recently, "Woo" are some of the songs he's had a hand in, but now he's decided to dedicate one of his own solo songs to the iconic singer. "We've all had that one girl that had that Rihanna flex" he sings on the highlight from his new EP Love You To Death, singing about a woman who will blow your mind and leave you wanting more. "And now you need that love / Like you lost something that you never had / It was all that, now it's all bad," he muses on the hook.
Listen to Dream's full new project, which features 5 new songs that should satisfy fans of the LOVE trilogy, here.
Quotable Lyrics:
Savages, vultures and savages
She never fuck with the averages
How do I narrate this?
You'll never marry shit
Falling in love is embarrassing
Y'all was together, now you like where Paris went
Move the Eiffel Tower like a magic trick
It was never like you had imagined it
It's disparaging
Rih-Flex
