Mozzy and Trae Tha Truth are teaming up for a joint project called Tapped In, and despite the blunt force the two deliver as a tag team, they're not skimping on the features either. On the new release from the upcoming album "Ground Rules," the duo team with Snoop Dogg, who Trae describes as the "father of West Coast gangsta music" in a statement to Fader. Of course, being from Sacramento, Mozzy is a descendant of that style, and the three rappers find a collective darkness to unite within. Snoop sounds more menacing than he has in years, feeding off the energy of his collaborators, deeming himself the "Crip-keeper."
Look out for the project to arrive December 16th. Listen to Mozzy and Trae's previous collab "Errbody On Go," here.
Quotable Lyrics:
Jumpin' out the gym with it
I learned how to swim with it
13, learned to mix a little gin with it
bend with it, and you can check my pedigree
