It's never too long between Shawn Harris releases. He followed up his September mixtape Lafré Against The World: Chapter 1 by releasing "Mafioso" earlier this month. The Minneapolis rapper continues his strong late-year push with "Lonesome," released this glorious Friday in an HNHH premiere.
In "Lonesome," Harris explains why that he prefers to operate alone because people only desire his myriad talents for their own personal gain. His mistrust of woman is reminiscent of OG Swaggerdick's "Nigga On a Bus" refrain, "these bitches want me for my money, and I don't think that's funny."
Listen to "Lonesome" and follow Harris on Soundcloud.
Quotable Lyrics
I'm the same nigga since since when, only thing different is the mindset
When I'm outta town, they be talking down, when I'm back around, niggas silent
Try my hardest not to get violent, when these niggas want to make me
Didn't they tell you niggas I was crazy? Them subliminals don't faze me
