AimNfire's new track "Sour (Ain't My Homie)," comes off his incredibly titled Flame Gretzky mixtape, and is a promising introduction to his drill-inspired sound. Aim didn't provide much information about himself, but his music bares something of a Chicago influence, as he pairs his gritty raps with a healthy dose of auto-tune, recalling the work of Lil Durk, or perhaps Detroit's DeJ Loaf, who he shouts out in the song ("Do I look like DeJ Loaf, boy, don't try me"). The sample that glides over the pounding sub-bass is decidedly melancholy, adding paranoia and regret to the mood of the song.
