Javon, a 19-year-old rapper from Dayton, OH, earned a successful Heatseekers entry this summer with "Alive." He's now back with a brand new track that he created in response to the recent presidential election. He begins the record rapping about his own struggles -- which he doesn't see being addressed by the powers that be -- and he then turns his attention to president-elect Donald Trump. "A little hate won't hurt nobody, a little pain won't hurt nobody," he raps on the hook, sounding like a voice haunting The Donald's damaged psyche. He mostly maintains his composure while he goes on his tirade, but one can feel all the individual incidents of disrespect building a fire inside him -- and within much of the country. "Definitely proud of this song because I was very transparent and put my hurt into it," writes Javon.
