Following the shocking results of last night’s Presidential election, Killer Mike & El-P decide to join forces today for a therapeutic new song called “2100” featuring Roc Nation artist Boots.
Here’s what the duo had to say about the song with its release…“For our friends. For our family. For everyone who is hurting or scared right now. Here is a song we wrote months ago. We weren’t planning on releasing it yet but… well it feels right, now. It’s about fear and it’s about love and it’s about wanting more for all of us.”
Hit play and let us know what you think. Look for the two to hit the road starting in January for their World Tour as well.
Quotable Lyrics:
How long before the hate that we hold
Lead us to another Holocaust?
Sowing so deep in it that we can't end it
Stop, hold, ever call it off
It's too clear, nuclear's too near
And the holders of the molotov
Say that "revolution's right here, right now"
And they ain't callin' off
