GoldLink celebrates the one-year anniversary of his debut album with "See I Miss Pt. 2," featuring Marsha Ambrosius.

GoldLink hasn't put out too much since his impressive debut album, And After That, We Didn't Talk, which was released exactly one year ago. Tonight, he has decided to celebrate the anniversary by sharing a new single, "See I Miss Pt. 2," which is the sequel to the final track on And After That, We Didn't Talk. The new song features Marsha Ambrosius, the British R&B singer who guested on T.I.'s Dr. Dre-produced "Dope" earlier this year.

"See I Miss Pt. 2" is a jazzy, late-night slow jam that's proof of GoldLink's vocal prowess and his ability to convey the emotions of a love-tested soul man far beyond his years. "Who knew," he sings nostalgically, "that I would even miss that bitch." His self-protecting sense of resentment is eventually drowned out by his longing for his young sweetheart.

GoldLink has been picking up speed in the last few of months, dropping a new single, "Fall in Love," at the end of August and linking up with Isaiah Rashad for "Untitled," a collaborative single featuring Preston Harris, last month. "See I Miss Pt. 2" arrives via Soulection. Hopefully a project announcement is coming soon from the grooviest rapper in the DMV.
