As he promised, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith has released another song from Ab-Soul's anticipated album DWTW: "Braille."
On "Braille," Ab-Soul argues that he's the only truly original artist left in the game and attempts to proves it with a dazzling wordplay exhibition and even rattles off the "Peter Piper" tongue twister at one point. Dreamville artist Bas contributes an impressive verse over a beat that sounds like seance music. Between "Braille" and "Huey Knew," it is not out of the question that DWTW is Ab-Soul's attempt to contact the dead.
"Braille" will become available on iTunes and all streaming services tonight at midnight.
Quotable Lyrics
Soulo ho the prophet
I'm a fiend like Bassy
Money like I'm Saudi
Agua from the islands
We went from Pintos to benzos
Plain and simple, let’s race a little
The bar needs to be raised a little
I led the way, but never raised the pencil
