Tory Lanez hasn't let his foot up off the gas pedal since releasing his debut LP I Told You two months ago. Since then he's loosed several Fargo Fridays tracks, most notably "Bodmon Song," "Super Freaky" feat. Rick Ross, and his Joey Batts ode "Blue Jay Season." This morning he released two new belated Fargo Friday joints in an HNHH premiere: "Time" and "Look No Further."
The two songs are disparate in style and indicative of Lanez' five-tool versatility. Whereas "Time" is an R&B slow-burner with a vibe close to that of I Told You, "Look No Further" features a triumphant, sax- and strings-driven soul sample produced by Play Picasso and E.C. Fresco and evokes Lanez' "Wooden Beads" days.
Quotable Lyrics
I swear I ain't tryna play musical chairs
I ain't judging, I'm trying to come through in the clear
Fuck you, put two in the air
Fingers all through in your hair
Tell me you love me
