Big K.R.I.T. debuted his new song "Free Agent" this morning on "Sway in the Morning." The song serves a nice capstone to the interview, which centered around K.R.I.T.'s independent status how that affects his mentality. "You shouldn't gauge your success off another person's success," he told Sway.
On "Free Agent," K.R.I.T. leans on his front foot, beats his chest, and mocks rappers who have had the misfortune to sign to a major label. If it wasn't evident in the interview, it's pretty obvious from this song that he is happy with where he's at in his career.
Quotable Lyrics
How they rob a nigga then go shake his other hand?
How I hit the road when I ain't never have a chance?
How I sell a show and I ain't even make 'em dance?
How I ain't a gimmick but I got all these fans?
How I made in merch what you got in your advance?
How I work the tape like I was bagging up the grams?
