Freddie Gibbs fans breathed a huge sigh of relief after the rapper was acquitted of sexual assault in Austria last week. Now they can look forward to his Bandana album with Madlib and anything else he puts out, which is virtually guaranteed to be flames.
Gibbs connects with Country Cousins, comprised of Pimpin Pen and K. Paul, on their new song "Trap House Jumpin." The Cousins hail from Austin, TX, a place where "niggas balling so hard, we don't ad-lib, we audible." The beat is heavily Southern -- it even features thpse tinny, super-fake trumpet stabs -- but presents no significant challenge to everyone's favorite Gary, IN rapper.
"Trap House Jumpin" will appear on Country Cousins upcoming Southern Smoke mixtape Country Kingz.
Quotable Lyrics
I'm a stonecold killer, local drug dealer
Ski masks and choppers, that's early Christmas for my niggas
I run with some robbers, it'll be some problems if they hit ya
Just poured up the water, now I got it knockin in your kitchen
