While ASAP Rocky and SpaceGhostPurrp were once collaborators (Purrp produced the original "Pretty Flacko" among other Rocky tracks), they have had issues for the past few years. Earlier this year, their feud was reignited when Purrp and his crew took shots that the late ASAP Yams. Now, Purrp, in what seems like an apology of sorts, has released "RIP ASAP Yams," a newly released collaboration between himself and Rocky. While it's not entirely clear, the song -- which is lo-fi even by Purrp's standards -- sounds like an old unreleased record rather than a reunion. XXL Points out that the it shares a beat with a Denzel Curry track from a while back. The Denzel connection seems appropriate here, seeing as he and Purrp had their own issues, leading Curry's involvement in the beef with ASAP, exchanging disses with SGP before the two eventually made peace.
Will Rocky acknowledge the record? We wouldn't count on it, but we'll have to wait and see.
