Listen to Francis and the Lights' "City's Gone," a dreamy new auto-tune ballad featuring Kanye West.

Francis and the Lights, the outfit led by Francis Farewell Starlite -- producer for Chance the Rapper and Frank Ocean -- released their debut album, Farewell, Starlite!, yesterday. The experimental pop album includes two notable features: Kanye West and Bon Iver. West happened to star in the July music video of "Friends," the track that Bon Iver appears on, but on Farewell, Starlite!, Ye features on an entirely new track, "City's Gone." Stream the whole 10-track project here

Starlite sings for most of "My City's Gone," with West's contributions mainly limited to heavily auto-tuned backing vocals. Even so, the lyrics and the sublime quality of the song feel in the spirit of Kanye's recent material.

Quotable Lyrics

I'm forty-three, my heart once beat
I'm forty-five, I came alive
And there was a spirit
So young and free
It spoke to you
It spoke to me
