With every new song released from Danny Brown's Atrocity Exhibition, it becomes clear that this album is going to be something special. Two days ago, he dropped the exceptional “Really Doe” with Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul and Earl Sweatshirt. The Detroit rapper is back today with "Tell Me What I Don't Know," a song less experimental and more in line with the ghoulish character of Old than many of the tracks Brown has released in the last two months. "We were so ambitious/ All we really wanted was new Jordans and some bitches."
The song premiere on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show. During an interview, Brown told Lowe why his music has always been brutally honest: "I came in the game with no tooth, I can't lie! I couldn't do nothing but keep it 100."
Quotable Lyrics
How long will they last?
Never ending race, chasing cash
Wrong lane going wrong way til I crash
Teacher find my sack, going no where fast
