Sorrow

Picaszo is a Montreal-based rapper, singer and songwriter. His submission, "Sorrow," combines mroe traditional sounds (some chipmunk soul courtesy of producer Ben Whale), with a more modern melodic approach to rap. This record in particular is reminiscent of The Weeknd's "Tell Your Friends," as confessional R&B meets Kanye-esque sampling. He calls his movement "TheNewWave". While he's still smoothing out the ages of his sound, at only 18, he's got potential to make some interesting music. You can listen to more of his music over at his official SoundCloud.
