This morning, Tink delivered her Winter's Diary 4 mixtape. It's a mixtape series the Chicago MC has been cultivating since 2012, and it's done her well, leading to a deal with Epic under Timbaland's Mosley Music Group. Since linking with Timbo, Tink has released a couple of singles, including poignant "Tell the Children" and the smooth "Count It Up," but nothing has done major damage yet. Still she's taking her time with it, continuing along the mixtape path instead of jumping the gun on her debut album.
On Winter's Diary 4 you can expect her same meld of r'n'b and rap, although it seems like this project leans more towards the r'n'b angle. "Stay On It" contains the one mixtape feature, with an auto-tuned dripping verse from Lil Durk and shimmery production from C-Sick. Grab the project if you're feeling this.
Quotable Lyrics
Piece on my hip like a mufucking beeper
Don't let it ring off
Car full of n*ggas who know how to get you
And do you in minimum time
Run through the bank and deposit more cake than a baker would bake for a bride
March in the building they all get to film it
Like we got a movie to cut
