Los Angeles rapper A$ton Matthews is about to delve into his alter-ego -- Chapovelli -- an outlaw bandit riding through the west with nothing to lose, an answer to 2 Chainz's chill Southern boss persona Trapavelli Tre. Chapovelli is the name of Matthews' upcoming project, and today he shared its first single, "Desperado."
Produced by Luca Vialli, "Desperado" is downright evil. It could easily fit as the villain's theme in a modern, stylized reboot of Clint Eastwood's "Dollars" Trilogy. That yung Ennio Morricone.
Matthews calls Chapovelli his "sacrifice to the game." It's tentatively slated to release later this summer. In the meantime, stream "Desperado."

Chopavelli in that taco truck
Three-wheelin' and ashin blunts
This bitch is poppin' pussy
