PREMIERE! Belgian producer Alex Lustig shares an emotive new dancefloor burner: "Halcyon."

Alex Lustig, a producer from the Belgian city of Antwerp, has made a name for himself for the smooth and modern hip-hop sounds he has given to Vegas emcees Euroz and Dizzy Wright. He produced the entirety of Euroz' For Good Reason EP, and he assisted in three standout jams off Wright's latest project, The 702 EP, including "Why You Do Me Like That." While his talents continue to be sought after from rappers overseas, Lustig is busy building his career as a solo artist, and it's on his own instrumentals that one gets to experience the breadth of his artistry. After sharing his Pure EP -- on which he showcased a palette of lush ambient textures, deep house rhythms, and hip-hop percussion -- Lustig is back with his new single: "Halcyon." It's some of his finest work yet.

He begins the track with a melange of vocal samples, including one that deeply cries "You" with striking intimacy. Light but immersive synths soon fill the entire soundscape, and eventually, the synths and vocals fuse into one blissful melody. "Halcyon" is perfect for sunrises or sunsets, flooding the dancefloor with emotions both nostalgic and rejuvenating as day turns to night or vice versa.
