A couple of days ago, prolific Harlem Freshman Dave East teamed up with bubbling Philly rapper Kur for a surprise joint EP: Born Broke, Die Rich. The 5-track project should please a wide array of hip-hop fans, whether it be those looking for lyricism, street-focused content, or young, unbridled energy. It's got it all. One particular highlight is "No Trust," produced by another Philly guy in Maaly Raw, a frequent collaborator of Kur as well as Lil Uzi Vert.
"No Trust" is softer than the rest of the EP, mainly due to the ambient trap production of Maaly, which, in turn, prompts the two emcees to get more introspective than usual. They each paint a picture of their respective come-ups, and the listener can then understand why they each have "No Trust" for basically anyone aside from a close few. Even though the song is about being guarded with one's feelings, it's a surprisingly poignant listening experience.

Quotable Lyrics
Make a n*gga do a somersault
I don't trust not one of y'all
In the trap made a hunnid calls
Now my section got a hunnid broads
Since a young'n I just wanna ball
Bags comin' and I want 'em all
