Lil Bibby's FC3: The Epilogue was originally supposed to come out last year around the holidays. With the presumed release now only a couple weeks away (August 26), a song from the project has found its way onto the internet: a remorseless Mafioso cut called "Never Go Against The Family."
The track is produced by Metro Boomin and Southside, the duo behind ScHoolboy Q's devious "Dope Dealer" and countless other tracks. They act as Tom Hagen and Michael Corleone, acting in concert with Bibby, who would be Don Corleone in this scenario. Don Bibby carries plenty of gravitas as he explains why there's only one person he can truly trust: himself.
Quotable Lyrics
All my niggas them niggas
Play and they might go bananas
Pull on your block with them hammers
Know that the city can't stand us
They say that we too much handle
The way that we riding them choppers
All the young niggas be thinking we shottas
