After inking his new deal, Kur shares a high-adrenaline track, "Made Me Do It," produced by Maaly Raw.

What a week it's been for Kur, who's positioned himself to be the next big thing outta Philly. He just teamed up with XXL Freshman Dave East for a surprise joint EPBorn Broke, Die Rich, with which they intend to prove that lyrical street rap ain't dead. Right before that, though, Kur signed a deal with eOne Music, and he celebrated by putting out a new track, "Made Me Do It," produced by the hottest young beatmaker in his hometown, Maaly Raw.

Kur hits his stride immediately on "Made Me Do It," and he raps with a reckless energy the whole way through, never losing his composure. His lyricism is impressive, but what's most striking is how his best bars feel off-the-cuff, and not pre-meditated. Throughout his high-speed bursts, stirring snapshots of his come-up in Philly are delivered when least expected. Those familiar with Maaly's work with Uzi will recognize some of these strange synth noises. As evidenced by past tracks like "No Matter What" and "Just Like That," he and Kur have a special chemistry.
