2 Chainz takes on a Mr. 2-17 beat on "Ghetto."

2 Chainz is on quite a run in 2016, releasing his Felt Like Cappin EP, ColleGrove, his full length collaborative album with Lil Wayne, as well as some of his most memorable features in years. He's continued this streak with the release of Daniel Son; Necklace Don, a solo tape released Friday. While the Drake-assisted "Big Amount," immediately caught fans' attention, the project is filled with gems, including "Ghetto," a new collaboration with rising Atlanta producer Mr. 2-17. In case you're not familiar, 2-17 was behind Bankroll Fresh's "Walked In," as well as Chainz jams like "El Chapo Jr." and "Blue C-Note." His chunky, minimal style gets glossier with every release -- punctuated with the sounds of crashing glass, the "Ghetto" instrumental is one of his most visceral party-starting moments. Chainz is now as comfortable as ever on this production, finding the catchiest pockets within the punchy beat.
