On twitter the other day, Wiz Khalifa teased the possible release of two records, one he touted as a Taylor Gang cut and one as a "Khalifa man" cut. He ended up dropping the former, a song featuring Chevy Woods and Tuki Carter alongside production from Pittsburgh native ID Labs, "Isaac Hayes." Today it looks like he's giving us the latter song, with "Bad Influence." The song features production from another one of Wiz's OG producers, Sledgren.
It's a smooth cut with trademark Sledgren flourishes, including closed hi-hats ticking along and a lightly-howling siren. It's also pretty standard Khalifa, a record that works well to either roll up or cruise around (or both).
Wiz is currently on tour with Snoop Dogg for "The High Road" tour.
Quotable Lyrics
I'ma let you push the whip to the crib
While I twist, say you stoned so I'ma take this one to face
N*ggas tryna win a race, I'm just tryna get you laced
Take a ride out to my place
Bring the bottles by the case, roll the chronic, have a taste
I ain't got no time to waste
