With YRN 2, 3 Way, and a few banging singles, Migos has have had a great year. Outside of his familial group, Quavo has also been shining as a solo artist. He's collaborated on tracks with many big-time artists, including T.I., Young Thug, G-Eazy, and Chris Brown. Standouts include "Pick Up the Phone" and Ty Dolla $ign's "Long Time." During tonight's episode of OVO Sound Radio, special guest Murda Beatz premiered a new Migos track, Quavo's new PartyNextDoor-featuring single, "Cuffed Up," and amazingly, two more solo joints from the drug analyst Quavo Skip Bayless. Following "My Pockets," here's Quavo's other solo effort, "Trapstar," on which he sounds particularly composed. Murda's flute work is also something to behold.
With all this new Quavo material, one would think that he's prepping a full release. Hopefully the Migos will never disband, but the time feels right for a new Quavo project.
Quotable Lyrics
If you get dope on your hands
Don't put your hands on your face
Run it and stack up some bands
Throw that shit right in your safe
Real trapper gon' make him a cap everyday
