J. Cole appears on "Jermaine's Interlude." "Major Key" out tomorrow.

DJ Khaled's ninth studio album Major Key drops at midnight but has already found its way onto the digital streets. "Jermaine's Interlude" stars J. Cole as well as the insurgent Atlanta duo EarthGang and promises to be one of the most celebrated tracks on the album.

J. Cole's production is humid and nostalgic, not far removed from the sound he crafted on 2014 Forest Hills Drive. It's pretty much what you'd expect from ol' Jermaine. Although the fact the Khaled gave Cole an interlude may seem like an insult, keep in mind that most of the tracks on Major Key featured upwards of three artists; "Jermaine's Interlude" is as close to a solo track as it gets.

Quotable Lyrics

Tables do turn and labels do burn, the second that they ask you to sell your soul
Don't you do it, don't you fold, say "Fuck that shit" and be bold
Cause all them stories you told on records worth more than gold
And if you never go gold again, at least you will know
