Chicago's Zeus The Plug has managed to remain versatile with each of his releases, most recently taking a stab at a Toronto-influenced record, recruiting 6 ambassador Ramriddlz for "The Weekend." Today, he's looking to the South, creating a catchy Atlanta-esque record that would sound at home at the city's beloved strip clubs. The beat, supplied by The Warlord, is a dynamic force, with elements of the hypnotic instrumental dropping in or out, making for a lot of movement in the feel of the record. Zeus rises to the occasion, complimenting his flows with subtle harmonies, taking things to the next level through small details in his songwriting.
Quotable Lyrics:
Need a table just to count on it
See you later, man I'm counting on it
Book a trip, Man I'm counting on it
Money counter, keep on countin' money
Counting On It
