Tayvon Mason is a songwriter from Queens, New York who goes by the artist name Alpha Mason. His track, "Can't Trust Her" combines the ambient, cloudy feel of SoundCloud trap like Playboi Carti and Madeintyo with a more populist touch, adding some sampled female vocals that add an EDM tinge to the track. “Storytelling, wordplay, and witty rhyme schemes is what I want to be known for first before anything," he says of himself. "If I cant deliver a precise story that’s relatable to everybody I’m not completing what I should as an artist”.
