While most of us have been celebrating the Fourth of July, multi-talented producer/singer Childish Major has been doubly celebrating as it also happens to be his birthday. He's cooked up his very own birthday song, and he's got some pretty strong features in the mix, from two of TDE's underdogs. After quickly getting some artwork done for it via twitter, he's come through with the full collaboration.
We've heard a lot of birthday-themed rap/r'n'b songs over the year, and rather than going the turnt up or slowed down/sexy route, Childish offers up something that's somewhere in the middle-- there's references to partying and there's the obvious r'n'b influence, but apart from that it's actually a pretty tame record. Take a listen, and happy birthday Childish! Go thank him for the b-day present.
Quotable Lyrics
You was never here for the motions
Everybody just keep on floating
By
You don't even call to say hi no more
Yeah I got an attitude
Cause everybody showed up except you
Everybody showed love except you
