Clams Casino has picked collaborators wisely for his debut album 32 Levels. The album will feature his old partners-in-crime A$AP Rocky and Lil B. Earlier this month, he released a hellish track with Vince Staples called "All Nite." His newest release "A Breath Away" prominently features Kelela, whose EP Hallucinogen was one of the best projects of 2015.
On "A Breath Away," Kelela's airy vocals mingle effortlessly with Clams' ethereal' synths and speculative drums. The song is substantially more uplifting than "All Nite," which produces a suffocating, end-of-the-world sensation when heard.
32 Levels drops July 15.
Quotable Lyrics
Eyes are on me, but you're so polite
I'm just browsin' you never let me leave your side
Roll my eyes so I don't lose my mind
In this land where hell isn't too far behind
