Dizzy Wright is nearly ready to release his new project The 702 EP, an ode to his hometown Las Vegas. After releasing "East Side" and "What's In My Pot," Wright released a new single Wednesday afternoon called "Why You Do Me Like That."
"Why You Do Me Like That" gets a verse from Nebraska rapper Sk8 Maloley. The beat comprises of thundering 808s and a silky, shimmering arpeggiated synth. It appears that Dizzy is taking The 702 EP in a different direction than his last EP Wisdom and Good Vibes, which focused on usage of live instrumentation.
The 702 EP drops Saturday, July 2nd. Read Dizzy's HNHH digital cover story here.
Quotable Lyrics
It ain't new to me to hit 'em with a fresh look
Then I hit my dance like Westbrook
Then I hit these niggas with the left hook
Until I'm Money Mayweather with the checkbook
