It's been a minute since Maino dropped off a remix, or a KOBmix, at one point he was steadily releasing remixes every other week. However the last remix we got from him was a joint effort with Uncle Murda, "Shooters Everywhere," their own take on Madeintyo's "Uber Everywhere," back in May. It looks like Maino might be starting up again, with the release of a new mix on The Internet's extra smooth "Girl," produced by Kaytranada.
Maino only adds one verse to the outset of the record, so it still feels very much like The Internet's record. How does Maino fit into the record's soundscape?
