Last year, Drake started a conversation with his If You're Reading This It's Too Late proclamation; "if I die, I'm a legend". As an artist who had not even put a decade into rap, it was a bold claim, but there are a few artists who've been doing their thing long enough to get by with such a statement without question. Snoop Dogg, who made his first big break on Dr. Dre's The Chronic in 1992 doesn't have anyone arguing against his legend status in hip-hop, but it doesn't mean he can't brag about in anyway. On a new track from the rapper's upcoming COOLAID LP, which will be his 14th, Snoop takes on some decidedly modern production to prove he can still hang with the new guys.
