The Los Angeles Rams had it rough in 2016. After finishing the season with a mere four wins, the team also took another blow when their head coach was fired after signing a contract extension days earlier.
Now it appears the team will face more adversity because of the actions of one of its key players. According to reports, running back Tre Mason was taken into police custody in Palm Beach, Florida Tuesday night for an incident back in July when the athlete fled from police on an ATV.
According to police, Mason was riding his ATV and causing destruction to property. Accordingly, a deputy tried to stop him and the NFL player refused to stop for the officer and led the officer on a chase to his mother's home.
Tre's mother has since spoken out about the incident and expressed her concern for her son's mental health.
"Tre is not himself at all," Tina Mason told police. "He's not making good decisions."
