More And More

One of the most memorable tracks on Wiz Khalifa's classic mixtape, Kush & OJ, was the spacey ballad, "Up," an effectively stripped down take on his sound that showcased his Max B influence more than ever. He's rarely revisited that style, but his new track, "More and More," comes close. There is a drum a track this time around, but Wiz's vocal delivery is as psychedelic as ever, with traces of flanger and delay on his backing vocals. The subject matter remains consistent, with the rapper calling for the legalization of weed, but sonically, this may be the closest he'll ever come to making a Tame Impala song.
