Polyester the Saint is gearing up for the release of his 5th studio album American Muscle on July 8. Yesterday he shared the album's lead single, "On The Regular" feat. Dom Kennedy.
Poly and Dom previously collaborated on the "Players Anonymous" remix in 2014. "On The Regular" blends elements of Los Angeles G-funk and Houston's own brand of funk. What do the cities' hip hop scene share in common? A prominent car culture, and "On the Regular" is a nostalgic cut that perhaps lends itself to that 2 AM drive down the interstate.
