Apart from an appearance on Chance The Rapper's Coloring Book (which is now eligible for Grammy consideration), we haven't heard from Towkio a lot these past few months. Back in March he teamed up with Save Money affiliate/rumored beefing partner of Chance Vic Mensa for "G W Me (Gang With Me)."
Towkio is almost ready to follow up his well-received mixtape, .Wav Theory, with a new EP next week. Leading the way today, he connects with another Save Money rapper, Joey Purp (who we just profiled here) for "Playin Fair." For those unfamiliar with Towkio, he's received the almighty Rick Rubin co-sign and has been holed up in Shangri La concocting his debut album with Rubin, World Wide .Wav.
